25 years on from the filming of Lord of the Rings, access has just been renewed to the country garden that became the heart of Elvendom on earth. Join your expert guide and begin the day visiting Stansborough Mill - official costume maker for Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and more, for a fascinating insight into how this small, family-owned business became renowned around the world for craftsmanship still done the old fashioned way, including the exquisite cloaks gifted to the Fellowship by Galadriel and Celeborn.

We then travel over the Remutaka Ranges into the Wairarapa region. Collecting a cafe lunch along the way, we'll then enter a historical country estate that became the filming location of Lothlorien and the Gladden Fields.
